Public Works Laborer

Hatfield Township (Pop. 17,284), a Township of the First Class in Montgomery County, PA is seeking applications for Public Works Laborer. This full-time position will include but is not limited to maintenance and repair of roadways, trails, parks, right of ways, snow removal, storm water systems and township owned and maintained properties. The desired applicant is preferred to have basic knowledge of the day-to-day operations of a municipal Public Works Department along with prior construction, maintenance or trade experience. Valid driver's license is required and successful applicants are required to obtain a PA Class A commercial driver license within 6 months of hire. Residents can volunteer their time to help with various parks and recreation events, field work and administrative duties. Persons interested in employment as a police officer with the Hatfield Township Police Department are asked not to forward unsolicited resumes but are encouraged to check the police department's website regularly for notification of an opening.
