Visitors to this 2-acre passive
park area will find a small cabin nestled among mature shade trees, with
a meandering stream and a footbridge. Built more than 60 years ago by
local scouts, the cabin, along with its grounds, became a Hatfield
Township acquisition through the Montgomery County Open Space Program.
Colmar Troop 229 continues its program at this cabin. The park grounds
are also open to the public during the regular park system hours of dawn
to dusk. Day use of the cabin is by prior arrangement.
